Artist Statement
My practice engages with historical and traditional mediums, influenced by my love of icons. I’m drawn to the ephemeral and transient nature of life and strive to express this through my work. Building site specific and interactive installations is an important part of my practice, where I seek to engage with people who traditionally have limited access to Creative Arts.
My approach is process-led, often experimental. I strive to understand and express the essential and universal in our common humanity and build on our creative ancestral legacies, engaging materials with which we have expressed our earthly experience through millennia.
